Building on LSH's work with London boroughs and central government

Laira Roberts will join as a Director in LSH’s strategic development advisory team within the public sector department, building on LSH’s work with the London boroughs and central government. Laira joins from Jones Lang LaSalle, where she was a Director in their development team. Laira has specific expertise in regeneration, having successfully advised on major regeneration projects in London, including Stratford City and Nine Elms in Vauxhall. Her clients included the HCA, London and Continental Railways, and the London Delivery Authority.

Also joining the public sector team will be Nyear Yaseen, as Associate Director. Nyear will join LSH from Thurrock Borough Council.  She has over 10 years’ experience in the property development field, having previously worked for North West Development Agency and Manchester City Council.

Arrivals follow important client wins for LSH

The arrival of Michael, Laira and Nyear follows a number of important recent client wins for LSH, including the company’s appointment to advise London Legacy Development Corporation on the multi-million-pound upgrade of Hackney Wick station.

In addition, London Borough of Lambeth has extended its contract with LSH for another four years, with LSH’s auctions offering now added to the list of services provided.

Ezra Nahome, CEO of LSH, commented: "Michael, Laira and Nyear will help us to build on our recent high profile successes in the public sector, including LSH’s appointment to advise London Legacy Development Corporation and the extension of our relationship with London Borough of Lambeth.

"We are proud to work with over 50% of the London boroughs and more than 250 public sector bodies in the UK, and are committed to growing this further in the future.

An exciting time for LSH

"These new senior appointments join Lambert Smith Hampton at an exciting time as we look to drive growth, and provide more strategic advice to unlock value, deliver efficiencies and help our clients achieve more."
