Multi Family Housing (MFH)

Multi Family Housing is a purpose-built rental product that offers housing in the form of flats and apartments. Typically, MFH schemes are located in city centres, where there is a high-density of people living within an area. MFH schemes often benefit from a level of on-site amenity such as co-working spaces, gyms and entertaining spaces.

Single Family Housing (SFH)

Single Family Housing is another rental product that offers housing in the form of houses. Typically, SFH schemes are located in sub-urban areas where there are strong level of amenities such as transportation, schools, healthcare, and employment. To date, the majority of SFH product has been 'accidental' and a means for the house builders to dispose of bulk portfolios that have been unable to sell on the open market.

Private Rented Sector (PRS)

Private Rented Sector refers to rented accommodation that is not necessarily purpose built and can comprise a mix of housing and apartment portfolios. Often PRS landlords are private individual who have developed or aggregated sizeable portfolios rather than being institutional landlords.

Co-Living Sector Co-Living is another purpose-built student accommodation is a rental product specific for university students. By nature PBSA is located within close proximity of universities campuses and will often have en-suite facilities. 

House in Multiple Occupation (HMO)

Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) are properties rented to multiple unrelated tenants sharing facilities such as kitchens, living rooms and bathrooms. Student-let HMOs are common in university towns and are increasingly held within landlord or investor portfolios.
