Property industry’s longest running event is another epic experience.

Find out more

Our Ski Challenge was again well attended in the Italian resort of Courmayeur with over 250 people from the property world. The event, the longest running in the industry’s calendar, has changed over recent years with a strong emphasis now on business development and networking. However, the final day is still dedicated to racing with industry professionals battling it out on the slopes.

The weekend started with an exclusive CPD accredited Business Forum where leaders of the industry discussed key issues affecting commercial property. Our guest speakers were Tony Pidgley, the founder and Group Chairman of Berkeley Group Holdings, who has just been given a CBE in the New Year’s honour list and Chris Kane, CEO of commercial projects at the BBC.

The Business Forum was concluded with a question and answer session with Ezra Nahome, James Thornton of Mayfair Capital Investment Management and our guest speakers being moderated by Damien Wild, Editor of Estates Gazette.

New events hosted

New to the Ski Challenge this year, we held a ski clinic, hosted by Olympic ski veteran, Konrad Bartelski. This provided participants with a unique opportunity to learn how to ski race gates or how to shave a few seconds of their race time.

The ski clinic was followed by a lunch at one of Courmayeur’s mountain restaurants were our guests got the opportunity to refuel and rest before enjoying further skiing.

Ezra Nahome, our CEO, commented: “Our 26th Ski Challenge was a fantastic event with a vast array of property professionals descending on Courmayeur. It really is a unique way to spend quality time with our clients and enjoy some fantastic Alpine skiing. I would like to thank our guest speakers, Tony Pidgley and Chris Kane our clients and sponsors; Estates Gazette, Wedlake Bell, BDO, Sequence and Dare 2b, who make the Ski Challenge the industry leading event it is.”
