LSH Birmingham support Young Enterprise Employability Masterclass at King Edward Vi Sheldon Heath Academy

Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) Birmingham team joined forces with Young Enterprise to support Birmingham youngsters in getting work ready.

Advice and guidance

Pupils learned about the commercial property sector and the many rewarding career opportunities available in the industry. They were given advice on how to become chartered surveyors and the important part surveyors play in the success of the property sector.

A team effort

Among the business mentors taking part from LSH were Daniel Taylor, Alice Fitton, Richard Jones. Fay Cavey-Wilcox, Amy Haywood, Louise Lokucewicz and Alice Pritchett

Daniel Taylor, volunteer from LSH in Birmingham, said:

“I thought it was a really enjoyable and rewarding day and it was good to give the children an insight into the skills required when making the transition from school to the workplace.2

The Masterclasses encourage young people to build an understanding of entrepreneurship and employment and enable students to develop teamwork, communication and presentation skills.
