Crossing national borders, contending with adverse weather conditions, managing a broken toe, and on top of that, a 24 hour sickness bug, Anne Evans from our Swansea office has completed a mammoth fundraising challenge for our corporate charity, Cancer Research UK. 

Anne completed several ultramarathons as she ran from our Swansea office all the way to our Truro office, in just under a week. That is an incredible distance of 238 miles! She was supported along the way by dedicated colleagues, keeping her in good spirits and providing her with the supplies she needed to keep going!

We couldn't imagine just how tough the challenge was, so we heard from the lady herself. 

Anne said "I'm so pleased I made it to Truro! I had a few issues along the way but the support I had from my LSH colleagues, alongside very kind donations, kept me going! Thank you so much to everyone who has sponsored me so far. The work Cancer Research do is amazing and needs our support so that together, we can beat cancer for future generations."
