Our Property Management team has more than doubled its original fundraising target for Mind, the mental health charity, with its recent ‘Summit, Cycle, Speed’ event.

The event, which took place last month and was sponsored by Lockton’s and Ligtas, involved a series of gruelling sporting challenges and saw the 50-strong team climb to the summit of Mount Snowdon, complete a 20-mile cycle through rough terrain to Penrhyn Quarry, before an adrenaline-packed race to the finish line on the world’s fastest zipwire!

The collective total raised for Mind, one of LSH’s official charity partners, has reached a whopping £12,678 – more than double the original fundraising target of £5,000.

Commenting, Paul Brooks, Managing Director - Investment, Property & Asset Management at LSH said:

“We had a great response to our Summit, Cycle, Speed event which saw our national property management team come together and have lots of fun, while overcoming some serious sporting challenges. Most importantly, we collectively raised some much-needed funds for a wonderful cause.

He added: “There was a fantastic team spirit and camaraderie throughout the day and we are ecstatic to have exceeded our fundraising target by so much - even more so following the challenges that the last 18 months has brought. To everyone involved, and for each and every donation, we’d like to extend a huge ‘thank you’.

Mind is an incredibly important charity that promotes mental health in a positive way and the funds raised will go a long way in supporting the crucial work they do."
