The two units at Bescot Point were acquired by Buccleuch, an Edinburgh-based property investor and developer, in a £1.65 million deal in August last year. The company invested further to extensively refurbish the units before being made available to new occupiers. The remaining 28,169 sq ft unit, complete with ancillary offices and car parking, is available to lease and sits in a highly prominent location.
Matt Tilt, Industrial and Logistics Director at LSH in Birmingham, said: “It’s great news that we have been able to complete a lease with a new occupier so soon after Buccleuch Property invested in a thorough refurbishment.
“The location of these units provides excellent connectivity via the Midlands motorway network, which is a real benefit to occupiers working across the region. These units provide an excellent platform for businesses to grow and expand their operations.
“There is a huge shortage of similar properties across the region and we were not surprised when we received a lot of interest from potential occupiers.”
Bescot Point is an industrial estate located 1.3 miles from Walsall town centre and the Walsall Ring Road, with junction nine of the M6 motorway only 0.6 miles away. For more information, contact Matthew Tilt.
With offices in Edinburgh and London, Buccleuch Property has a market exposure of circa £250 million through a UK-wide investment portfolio, a range of development sites with a pipeline in excess of 2.5 million sq ft and a strategic land portfolio with over 12,000 consented residential units.
