A manufacturer of commercial security doors and access panels has more than doubled its work space with support from Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH).

Profab Access has moved to two manufacturing and warehouse units in Carlyon Road, Atherstone, north Warwickshire, after doubling its turnover in the past six years.

LSH’s Birmingham office assigned a corporate client’s lease of a building that comprises two bays – Units C and D – to Profab Access, which agreed to take up the 44,000 sq ft space until the lease expires in December 2020.

Move will enable further expansion plans for market leader

Adrian Allbrighton, Managing Director of Profab Access, whose access panels and security doors can be seen in such commercial premises as The Gherkin and The Shard, in London, the Olympic Village, and Harrods, said the move will enable the company to improve efficiencies and expand further.

“We take enormous pride in our reputation as a market leader in our sector and needed new premises to grow and meet demand,” he said.

“This is an exciting opportunity, which affords Profab the ability to house both manufacturing and distribution under one roof. Our new site, which is just half a mile from our previous location at Fourways, enables us to achieve our true potential.”

The high specification building is made of a steel portal frame and is accessed via six level access doors. It has first floor office accommodation, a mezzanine, a large, secure yard area as well as car parking at the front of the building.

Prime location allows easy access to motorway network

Alex Carr, Director of Industrial and Logistics at LSH’s Birmingham office, said: “This is a prime location that affords good access to both the A5 and the Midlands motorway network. We were pleased to support our client with the assignment of their lease which has given Profab Access the ideal opportunity to continue growing its business in the Midlands.”

Carlyon Road industrial estate is located off the A5 and allows easy access to the B4111 Atherstone to Nuneaton Road and to most of the Midlands’ motorway network. It is approximately nine miles from Tamworth and eight miles from Hinckley.
