Harworth Estates has completed the sale of 32 acres of land to Rolls-Royce at the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) in South Yorkshire in a deal worth around £11m. We advised and marketed the site on behalf of Harworth Estates throughout the process.
Rolls-Royce is principal occupier on AMP
Owen Michaelson, Managing Director of Harworth Estates adds: “We are delighted to have Rolls-Royce as our new principal occupier on the AMP site, which helps to underpin the support and trust we have had from Rotherham Council, Sheffield Council and Yorkshire Forward.”
World class business and manufacturing centre
Located on the Rotherham-Sheffield border, minutes from the M1, the AMP is being developed to create a world class business and manufacturing centre.
Sheffield City Region Enterprise Zone
It is home to technology companies including Castings Technology International, Boeing and Dormer Tools. The site is also included within the Sheffield City Region Enterprise Zone and has a further 84 acres of land available – all benefitting from Business Rates Relief and Enhanced Capital Allowances.
