Advising Yorkshire-based home delivery giant, Hermes, we have facilitated the expansion of its UK operation with the acquisition of a 54,724 sq ft unit on Dealburn Road, Bradford. The new depot takes Hermes' UK network to 23 locations.
Rob Whatmuff, Head of our Industrial and Logistics team in Yorkshire, said: “Dealburn Road is a popular location for storage and distribution firms. It’s less than three miles from the M606/M62 intersection and perfectly suited Hermes’ requirements.”
Hermes expanding across the UK
Hermes is experiencing considerable growth this year. It has led to the opening a number of new deports during recent months including a 100,000 sq ft distribution hub in Warrington, Cheshire, a 35,600 sq ft depot in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, and 45,000 sq ft depot in Crawley, West Sussex.
Adam Leach, Estates Manager at Hermes said: “The addition of this new facility provides us with a key platform to provide enhanced services for our existing and future customer base across the North. It will ensure we possess the necessary capacity within our network to achieve our future growth plans, and are well prepared to handle high volumes during the forthcoming peak period.”
