Blathnaid Duffy to appear on rethinking regeneration panel

Bláthnaid Duffy, Director within our Town Centre & Economic Regeneration team will be speaking at the Royal Town Planning Institute's London Summit later this month. Taking place on Thursday 26th October at Canada Water Theatre, the summit will will explore lessons from LDDC's 40-year history and the recent "Docklands 2.0" announcement by DLUHC. 

During the day speakers will discuss the challenges London faces today and will relate these to topics such as social value, transport, design, and economic development.

Bláthnaid joins Ranjit Singh (Partnership Lead - Library of Things) and Alex Abbott (Expansion and Planning Lead - Decathlon UK) for a session talking about all things economic development. Bláthnaid has over 20 years’ experience advising local authorities across the UK on the regeneration of their town centres through evidence-based policy advice and town centre strategies. She also advises the private sector on a wide range of planning applications for retail, leisure, and mixed use schemes.

Once the content finishes, there is the opportunity to unwind and relax from your day’s learning and join fellow delegates for some food and beverages at the Decathlon events space.
