Over 750 lots from the Dorothy Kerin Trust (in Administration), the famous Christian Burrswood  Health and Wellbeing centre in Groombridge,  are being offered for sale by the national asset and property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) with the fine art and antiques to be sold separately by Swan Auctions.

The centre founded in 1948 by Dorothy Kerin closed its doors in April and a sale of the house contents is to be undertaken to include Healthcare equipment and furniture including  Arjo assisted baths, Luna person hoists with rails, electric standing aids, patient lifts with hoists, Linak automatic height adjustable shower trolleys, wheelchairs, minor medical equipment , physiotherapy rehabilitation equipment and beds, electric profiling beds,  pressure reducing mattresses, electric adjustable armchairs and much more besides. 

Further there is a full range of commercial catering equipment including ovens, dishwashers, range cookers, pizza ovens , mixers, prep counters, fridges, freezers, commercial washing machines and tumble dryers.  In addition home furnishings including guest and dining room furniture and accessories, a John Broadwood & Sons piano, a Kemble piano and, garden furniture will be sold.

The LSH online auction closes on the 5th December, whilst the Swan Auctions will hold its auction of the fine art and antiques on site on 23rd November 2019.

Mark Newman and Vince Green from the business advisory firm Crowe in Tunbridge Wells are the Joint Administrators of the Dorothy Kerin Trust.
