David Creamore and Martin Davis both join LSH from GVA (Avison Young) and bring significant sector knowledge and experience to their new roles, which will focus on driving hotel transactional business across the UK and developing LSH’s advisory platform, supporting LSH’s ambitious growth plans for its hotel and leisure division.

David, who will be based in London, is a well-known hotel agent and has conducted a wide variety of client work on behalf of private operators, investors and corporate clients, including the Portman Estate, the Grosvenor Estate and the Howard de Walden Estate. With more than 25 years’ experience, he is a key player in the London market where he has been at the forefront of many noteworthy hotel transactions across the capital and South East.  Prior to GVA, David held a director level role at Christie & Co for fifteen years.

Martin has more than 30 years’ experience in the property market and has worked with most major operators in the hotel and licensed leisure industry sectors.  A prominent broker in the North, Martin has been instrumental in negotiating many high profile hotel deals across the region.  Before joining LSH, Martin was also a director at Christie & Co, before going on to head up GVA’s hotel and leisure team in the North of England.  Martin will be based at LSH’s Manchester office.

Commenting on his new role, David said:  “My main priority will be to drive hotel transactional business with a particular focus on the London market, which remains one of the most highly-regarded and highly-sought-after hotel markets in the world. Demand for quality assets in the capital continues to outstrip supply and hotel values outperform the wider UK market.   My aim is for owners, banks, private equity and insolvency practitioners to work with us because they recognise our ability to provide valuable advice and facilitate deals.”

Martin added: “I am excited to have been invited to join the firm’s fast growing hotel and leisure sector team. I intend to use my knowledge and experience to further increase Lambert Smith Hampton’s share of the transactional hotel market across the North and North Wales.”

Nick Boyd, LSH Hotel & Leisure Operations Director commented: “I am extremely pleased to be able to welcome David and Martin, particularly given the current buoyancy of the hotel market  and their arrival will further build our profile in a sector that we are actively expanding on a national level.

“Our dedicated team of specialist hotel surveyors is recognised as a leading advisor to the UK’s hotel sector and I have no doubt that both David’s and Martin’s significant property experience will be invaluable as we continue to enhance client service levels, develop relationships and explore new areas of opportunity.”
