Baldwins has agreed a 10-year lease for the Grade A offices at Bank House, Cherry Street, just off the prestigious Colmore Row, taking all 4,700 sq ft – allowing room to grow further.
The company, which has moved its insolvency and restructuring office from the Jewellery Quarter to the Colmore Business District, will accommodate around 40 employees in the new landmark office, including business advisers that specialise in corporate finance, tax and forensic accountancy.
Charlotte Fullard, associate director at LSH in Birmingham, said she was originally instructed to acquire offices of between 2,000 and 3,000 sq ft, but that Baldwins opted to take the whole floor at the 18-storey building, noting the benefits of a long-term strategy.
“Bank House is a superb office building in the heart of the city’s financial district, making it the perfect location for such an ambitious company as Baldwins,” she said. “There is significant demand for Grade A offices in Birmingham and supply remains tight, so we’re delighted to have secured this deal for our client.”
