Well known in the Sheffield market, with a strong pedigree dating back to 1950, Lawrence Tattersall specialises in providing Building Consultancy, Business Rates and Landlord and Tenant advice on all aspects of commercial property, with a particular focus on the licensed and leisure sector.
The acquisition, which will see Managing Director, Paul Taylor and Senior Surveyor, Dianne Green, along with their support staff, transfer across to LSH’s highly-successful Sheffield office, is the latest instalment in what has been a transformational year for the business. This will also mark the retirement of Paul’s fellow Director, Andy Hart.
Following its relocation from Fountain Precinct to the Heart of the City in May 2016, LSH has gone from strength-to-strength; advising on some of the major deals within the region, including the sale of Ventana House and the development of the Olympic Legacy Park in Sheffield, as well as being awarded the Best Large Agency Practice accolade at the Yorkshire Property Awards and shortlisted for Deal of the Year at the Sheffield City Region Property Gala Dinner.
Adrian Lunn, Head of LSH’s Sheffield office, commented: “LSH is one of just a handful of national commercial property consultancies with a footprint in Sheffield and the acquisition of Lawrence Tattersall will further enhance our already strong presence in the South Yorkshire market.
“Not only will it benefit our existing clients by opening up new opportunities for us to offer a greater range of expertise in both core and niche areas, it will undoubtedly be a huge asset in building on our recent successes in securing new business and we look forward to welcoming Paul and his team on board.”
Paul commented: “This acquisition will enable us to offer a greater range of services to our existing clients and I very much look forward to working with LSH to achieve our objective of ensuring a successful transition.”
