New opportunities in a growing market

Nick has joined LSH’s Manchester office as Head of Funding and Development while Paul is the new Head of Property Management for the North West.  Their appointments follow the recent acquisitions of ES Group and Manchester-based retail specialist Tushingham Moore.

Nick said: “This is a great time to be joining Lambert Smith Hampton in the North West as it continues to develop the specialisms that will allow us to exploit new opportunities in a growing market.

“We are starting to see increasing levels of investment not only in commercial but residential opportunities and LSH’s position within the Countrywide network offers significant possibilities that are very exciting.

“I am also looking at other projects that fit with the company’s reputation as market leaders including the leveraging of overseas investment in the North West. The complementary acquisitions of ES and Tushingham Moore and their expertise in areas such as hotels and retail will also allow us to seek new mixed-use opportunities.”

Ambitious growth plans

Paul will head up LSH’s ten-strong team of Property & Asset Managers and Facilities Managers in the North West and he said the focus is developing the business organically and driving ambitious growth plans in the region.

He said: “Lambert Smith Hampton has a strong track record working on high-profile instructions for national funds such as TIAA Henderson, IVG, Lothbury and Rockspring. Our focus is to retain this key strength while also growing our local and regional client roster.

“The recent acquisitions are a key part of this strategy and will bring various new strands of work for the business as we increasingly collaborate across the company to take advantage of the numerous opportunities in the marketplace.”

Talent to strengthen offering

Abid Jaffry, Head of Office for Manchester at Lambert Smith Hampton, added: “These two appointments are a strong indicator of the current direction of travel for Lambert Smith Hampton. This will allow us to not only penetrate new sectors but also to attract more of the region’s best talent as we strive to offer our clients the best in class delivery across a range of expert-driven service offerings.”
