Snap-on signs for Reading office space

Find out more

Acting on behalf of Snap-on Business Solutions, we have acquired new office space in Reading.

The deal will see the tools catalogue business relocate from its current home on Kings Road in the town centre.

Snap-on designs and delivers electronic parts catalogues, accessory sales tools, warranty process management solutions, and manufacturer network development services. The company will move to Imperium, a large Reading office building near to junction 11 of the M4, having exercised a tenant’s break clause on its current lease.

New lease signed at Imperium

It has acquired 14,365 sq ft on the ground floor at Imperium, signing a new 10 year lease at a rent of £19 per sq ft with landlord, PRUPIM. We are now appointed to undertake the procurement and management of Snap-on’s office fit-out, delivering another turnkey office acquisition for one of its corporate clients.

Nick Coote, Head of LSH’s Reading office, commented: “Snap-on is moving out of a multi-floor, self-contained building of 30,000 sq ft into a single floor modern workplace. This move brings with it all the benefits of increased office space efficiency, enhancing staff’s ability to communicate and collaborate to the benefit of the business and its customers.”

Imperium is owned by PRUPIM, represented by Savills and Campbell Gordon.
