Based in LSH’s Manchester office, Richard will take responsibility for the leadership of the firm’s burgeoning public sector activity in the north, utilising his expertise in property rationalisation and strategy. In addition to focusing on the north of the UK, Richard will also work with the wider LSH public sector team in delivering national contracts.

“Richard’s appointment will further strengthen our national service offering and his recent client side experience helps us to ensure that our service delivery aligns completely with clients needs. This will enable us to build upon a pipeline of work that has grown considerably in the last couple of years with key strategic appointments from clients such as Homes and Communities Agency, Transport for Greater Manchester, Lancaster City Council and Nuclear Decommissioning Agency.”
Follows appointment to GPS framework
This appointment follows LSH becoming a named supplier to the new Government Procurement Service Estates Professional Services framework. A full range of property related services can be procured through the framework and is expected to deliver circa £25m savings to the public sector during its four year term.
Richard is joining from his role as Head of Corporate Property at Westminster City Council where he was responsible for the management of the council’s 600 corporately occupied and investment assets. Notable projects Richard was involved in included the Tri Borough Total Facilities Management procurement exercise and the ongoing promotion of regeneration activities across the city.
