The Challenge

As part of its commitment to creating world-class delivery Global engineering firm, BuroHappold, whose operations in Leeds span over 30-years, was looking to relocate from its existing premises on Brewery Place, where it had been located since 2003.

A key requirement within the brief was to secure a location that would reflect its focus on employee wellbeing and support its ambitious growth plans.

Our Solution

We were appointed to advise on the relocation, which included the shortlisting of a number of options capable of meeting BuroHappold’s specific requirements.

As part of the brief, we also provided detailed advice on the Leeds office market and concluded negotiations with the landlord leading to the successful acquisition of 5,660 sq ft of grade A office space on the ground floor of 3 Wellington Place, one of Leeds’ most prestigious office schemes.

The Results

With a focus on making their employees’ health and well-being a top priority, we assisted BuroHappold in finding a new workspace that enabled agile/activity based working which has helped dramatically improve staff engagement and also provided the opportunity to showcase BuroHappold’s business by creating a unique office environment.
