We have recruited a new head of infrastructure and CPO for the southern regions. Nyear Yaseen rejoins us from Cushman & Wakefield, where she spent the past 18 months as partner. Her previous experience also includes roles at L&Q Group, Thurrock Thames Gateway Development Corporation and North West Regional Development Agency.

Nyear has acted for a range of public and private sector clients including Camden Council, National Highways, NatWest Bank, and Royal Mail. She returns to LSH to head up our Infrastructure and CPO team in the southern regions and to bolster the team following a string of new wins in the land assembly and CPO arenas.

This appointment comes in response to a growing roster of compulsory purchase and infrastructure mandates which include advising Great Yarmouth Borough Council on its regeneration scheme, a combined appointment from Henry Boot and Enfield Council on the redevelopment of the Montagu Industrial Estate and advising Doncaster City Council on its gateway regeneration CPO.

Simon Bachelor, national director for infrastructure at LSH said: “The ongoing regeneration agenda is presenting a number of complex land assembly opportunities throughout the UK. With one of the largest and most experienced CPO and infrastructure teams in then market, we are seeing increased demand for our services across a range of public and private projects, both nationally and regionally”.

We have strengthened our CPO offer by making a number of new appointments across its national and regional offices and have been steadily growing the service offer to our clients, leading in the fields of energy, infrastructure and regeneration.
