Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has disposed of two Peter Hansford Cycles sites and the associated businesses in Southampton and Winchester.

Following an extensive marketing campaign, LSH secured a buyer for each of the sites and operating businesses, safeguarding some multiple jobs in the process. The two-storey retail unit (with upper floor residential) totalling 3,034 sq ft at 91 Olivers Battery Road in Winchester was sold to a private investor, while Aztec House, a cycle workshop and showroom totalling 7,399 sq ft in Park Gate, Southampton, was sold to local marine retailer Xtremity Sports Ltd.

In addition, LSH also acted on the sale of a local car dealership in the disposal of the Auto Assistance workshop at 6 Speedwell Close at Chandler’s Ford. The 4,921 sq ft unit and operating business were acquired by Snows Business Holdings Limited, an established motor dealership group across the south and south-west on England.

Stephen Snow, Chairman and CEO of Snows said: “We welcome Auto Assistance into our business and are looking forward to continuing to operate as an Independent Repairer from the same location”.

Luke Mort, Director in LSH’s Southampton office, said: “With certain sectors outperforming others, Investors and Businesses are focusing their attentions on opportunities where they can add value. These is a great example of this and the collaboration across LSH’s divisions, which has culminated in a good result for the administrator and business owner whilst also protecting established businesses and safeguarding local jobs”.
