DHL has leased an 84,000 sq ft industrial unit at BlackRock and Bericote’s Alpha Park in Southampton.
The deal is rumoured to be worth £8m with DHL taking the space at around £9 sq/ft on a 10-year lease.

The estate is a perfectly situated last mile distribution location with easy access to the M3 and M27, hence why it has been selected by DHL and the other tenants DX and Charles Kendall. The South Coast Industrial and Logistics market has seen encouraging levels of enquiries and take up during the COVID-19 pandemic from e-commerce companies through to manufacturing businesses”.
The building comprises 78,000 sq ft of warehouse space and 6,000 sq ft of office space and has two level access doors alongside six dock level loading doors.
The deal means that Alpha Park, which is next to junction 12 and 13 of the M3, is now fully let with DX Network Services and Charles Kendall occupying the site’s other two units.
