The government is in the process of reforming the business rates system to provide what it believes will be a quicker, clearer and more transparent service to businesses. The shake-up represents the most radical change to the system of local government finance for the last 25 years.   

We are asking all ratepayers to take part in our two-minute survey to help give us an understanding of how they perceive the proposed changes and what else should/could be done to achieve the government's objectives.   

The survey closes on Tuesday 5 July 2016 and the findings will be distributed no later than 30 July 2016.
