The Sheffield office of Lambert Smith Hampton has been appointed to market two strategic brownfield development sites adjacent to Doncaster Airport, and on the outskirts of Auckley, a South Yorkshire village approximately 5 ½ miles south east of Doncaster town centre.

“The recent opening of the first phase of the Finningley And Rossington Regeneration Route Scheme (FARRRS) has unlocked the potential of the two sites, reducing congestion and improving its connectivity by halving the journey times from the motorway,” commented Tom Burlaga, Agent at LSH's Sheffield office.

Officially called Great Yorkshire Way, the new route links Doncaster Sheffield Robin Hood Airport with the M18 Motorway at Junction 3. 

The site in Hurst Lane is approx. 13.85 ha (34.23 acres) and in Mosham Road comprises 9.27 ha (23 acres). Both are suitable for Commercial and Residential development, subject to consent, though an outline consent already exists for industrial, storage and distribution use for the Mosham Road site.
