Ewen’s appointment is part of a targeted investment by LSH in Scotland that also saw the arrival of Andrew Sheills as a Capital Markets Director in Edinburgh late last year. Their combined experience and knowledge of the market will help drive forward a growth plan for LSH in the country.
Ewen joins from F G Burnett, and has over 16 years of investment experience working with clients such as Credit Suisse, Aberdeen Asset Management, CBRE Global Investors and Hermes. He has worked on a number of major deals recently, including the sale of 151/155 St Vincent Street, Glasgow on behalf of Hermes to Aberdeen Asset Management for over £20m, and the purchase of the Wellgate Centre, Dundee for Invista.
Mike Thatcher, Regional Operations Director at LSH said: “We are recruiting some of the brightest, most ambitious property professionals in Scotland at a time when LSH is poised for further growth in the country. Ewen’s appointment is the latest example of this approach and will support the provision of high quality services to clients.
