The Christmas stockings are given to all the wounded, injured and sick who are at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, Headley Court and four H4H Recovery Centres located around the country.

There will be around 600 stockings packed, with between 30 and 40 presents in each one. The campaign is running for three weeks and the charity has had amazing support from over 150 volunteers.

The small army of volunteers included LSH Bristol colleagues Sam Brookbank, Jodie Lane, Karen Slee, Hayley Clee, Tim Beare and Craig Wallace. They went along to the H4H warehouse in Salisbury and helped pack the donated gifts into the H4H stockings.

Craig Wallace said: “It was a fantastic team effort as everyone at LSH joined forces to support Help for Heroes as much as we possibly could to make the Stocking Appeal a success. It is such a worthy cause and we were delighted to have the opportunity to be involved.”

H4H campaign manager Claire McHenry said: “We would like to thank all of Lambert Smith Hampton’s colleagues and friends for their amazing support for our Christmas Stocking Appeal; we really couldn’t do this without you.”
