Find out more

Our Northampton office has created a powerful new team with three key appointments.

James Hill (Director) and Adam Haley (Senior Surveyor) have both been appointed to our Industrial and Logistics team, while David Smith has joined as Director to build on the regional development and investment capability.

Lloyd Spencer, Regional Director of Industrial and Logistics, said the move is a clear message to the market that Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) will continue to provide the highest levels of service in Northamptonshire. The team is completed by graduate surveyor Joe Smith.

Commitment to Northampton market

Lloyd said: “These significant new appointments demonstrate our commitment to the strategic market of Northampton. I feel confident that not only do we have the best team in Northamptonshire but we also now have the best possible platform to drive the business forward and deliver growth.”

He added: “David and James are real heavyweights in the commercial property world and Adam and Joe have demonstrated enormous potential. I am excited at the prospects for our reinvigorated big shed team, and we will all be working together to maximise our unique offer, with expertise and knowledge of key sites not just in Northampton, but also London, Birmingham and the M1 Corridor.

“Between them, the three guys joining us have more than 35 years of Northampton experience, particularly in big sheds and development sectors.”

New team brings wealth of experience

James, from Northampton, has been involved in the regional industrial market since originally joining LSH as a graduate in 1998.  He has worked at two other local agency firms at director or partner level, most recently with Drake Commercial.

He acts for a range of funds and institutions, private investors, family trusts, property companies and occupiers and has a detailed knowledge of the Northamptonshire and Rugby commercial property markets.  He has dealt with industrial and warehouse property throughout his career as well as other forms of property including development land.

David has also returned to LSH, originally leading its Bedford office and working at Milton Keynes before leaving to set up Drake and Partners and then becoming a partner at Bidwells. More recently he established his own property development business.

He has vast experience in the Northamptonshire market and has many established working relationships with existing LSH clients, local businesses and land owners.

Adam joins from Naylors Chartered Surveyors in the north east where he gained valuable experience in all areas of general practice including valuation, professional, management and agency departments.
