Three-year retail property contract with National Express

Leading transport provider, National Express Group, has awarded us with a major contract to provide retail property advice across the coach and bus portfolio.

Working with National Express, we will explore potential growth areas, attract national retailers to the various locations, and identify potential commercial advertising opportunities.

Developing a station retail offer across portfolio

Stuart Parker, Director of Property at National Express Group, commented: The appointment is an integral part of National Express’ commitment to our customers which is demonstrated by the £15m redevelopment of our flagship coach station in Birmingham. 

Stuart continues: “We are confident in LSH’s innovative and strategic approach to maximise retail opportunities for our bus and coach portfolios. With LSH’s support, we have secured leading brand retailers to the new coach station.”

Long term relationship

Paul Barnett, Transport Director in our Leeds office, said: “We have worked with National Express for over 13 years and are delighted to have secured this nationwide contract.  It reflects the strength of our Transport Consultancy team and reinforces the longstanding relationship between the two firms.”

The three-year contract, with the option of a two-year extension, will be managed by our Leeds and London offices.
