On behalf of Aberdeen Standard, we sold this asset for £8.84m, an initial yield of 7.0%. The asset was considered to be substantially over rented, with future fixed increases expected to extend the over rent, while the tenant was not of a suitable financial standing for the fund. We identified the buyer during a targeted marketing campaign at a price above the vendor’s valuation.
