The new 26,000ft² building will accommodate over 250 people and is the next phase of the successful Dowlas development, Weston Gateway.

The park has already attracted Knightstone Housing, who moved to a new headquarters building at the end of 2013, and Green King who opened A Hungry Horse Public House earlier this year. Weston Gateway is located to the east of Weston Super Mare’s town centre, prominently located adjacent to the A370, close to Junction 21 of the M5 motorway, adjacent to Worle Parkway mainline station.

Enterprise House has been designed by Angus Meek Architects to provide a sophisticated, modern design with clean lines and carefully considered detailing. The building has been designed to a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating, with a wide range of tenure options available. It will be prominently positioned on the Park adjacent to Knightstone Housing and fronting the A370. The site is ‘oven ready’ with all utilities including fibre optic installed ready and the target date for completion of Enterprise House is late 2015.

“Following the announcement of the go-ahead for the new £24.5bn nuclear power station at Hinkley Point, we anticipate strong demand from companies associated with the project due to the convenience of the location in respect of the motorway and the rest of the country, and due to the quality of the development” said Gemma Day, of developer Dowlas.

Peter Barrett, associate director of office agency at commercial property consultants Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), said: “Once Enterprise House is largely let, the plan is to roll out additional phases in short order.”

Natalie Bennett, from Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP, said. “The development at Hinkley Point will give the economy of Weston Super Mare a major boost and it is important our clients are able to provide high quality business premises such as Enterprise House to satisfy this demand over the next two years.”

Dowlas Developments has a full professional team in place and is inviting potential occupiers to come forward now so that the design of the building can be adapted to their personal requirements.

Further information on the offices is available from the joint letting agents, Peter Barrett (pbarrett@lsh.co.uk) of Lambert Smith Hampton and Natalie Bennett (natalie.bennett@htc.uk.com) of Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP.
