Fixed charge receiver instruction on portfolio of office buildings

Find out more

We have been appointed to asset manage a portfolio of nine office buildings throughout the Midlands and north of England, on behalf of fixed charge receivers.

The properties, totalling almost 77,000 sq ft, are located in Wolverhampton, Stafford, Burton-on-Trent, Northampton, Bedford, Salford, Blackburn, Runcorn and Wakefield.

Proactive approach to maximise asset value

Liam Hawes said: “This is a challenging and complex portfolio, as is to be expected with a receivership instruction. Already, tenants have seen real improvements in the way the sites are being managed – our proactive approach ensures that the asset value is maximised through the retention of existing tenants and housing of new occupiers into the schemes.”

Nick Hammond added: “We are well placed to handle the instruction, from both a strategic and operational perspective, with our network of local offices and cross-discipline expertise adding value throughout”.

Properties include national and local occupiers

All of the properties are occupied by multiple tenants including national occupiers and local firms. The portfolio includes Newton Court on Pendeford Business Park in Wolverhampton; Faraday Court on Centrum 100 in Burton; Rutherford Court, Staffordshire Technology Park, Stafford; Bassett Court on Grange Park, Northampton; Stephenson Court, Priory Business Park, Bedford; and four properties in the north of England.

The instruction is being overseen by Liam Hawes and Nick Hammond in our Nottingham office, and run locally by our offices in Birmingham, Luton, Sheffield and Manchester.
