Coordinating a team of professional advisors, we are creating a completely new and modern office building by stripping back the existing dated finishes and features and refreshing both the layout and the look of the building to accommodate Westfield Health’s continued growth, leading it through into its centenary celebrations in 2019. The finished design includes the introduction of an atrium, rooftop meeting and breakout space, a new customer entrance and complete refurbishment of the interior areas to modern standards.

Works started in late 2014 to strip out the building, with phase 2 of the refurbishment due to complete in August 2016. The organisation’s 200 plus staff will be relocated shortly thereafter. As the building will remain vacant throughout the duration of the works, we have successfully employed a mitigation strategy to significantly reduce Westfield Health’s empty property rates liability, which has resulted in savings of over £550,000 to date – vital funds that can be reinvested into the multi‑million pound refurbishment project; a key consideration for the not‑for‑profit organisation.
