The Westminster Fire Station Project consisted of 17 new residential units, of which 11 were in a new build block to the rear of the site, and 6 within a former Fire Station. A restaurant space is located on the Ground floor, and a landscaped courtyard area sits next to the two blocks. Situated in the centre of London, the site had multiple challenges, including the Grade II Listed Fire Station building, eleven Party wall Awards, the excavation of the basement area and Right of Light negotiations. The construction also took place during the Coronavirus disruption in 2020 and 2021, which led to reduced labour resource and eventually site closure. Moreover, the impact of Brexit lead to issues with procurement of certain materials.
