Paul Ellison and Robert Keyes of KRE Corporate Recovery Limited were appointed as Joint Liquidators of Tidal Lagoon (Swansea Bay) Plc ('the Company') on 14th May 2026, a Tidal Lagoon development company that is subject to a solvent winding up. The Liquidators are seeking bids for the Tidal Lagoon Intellectual Property owned by the Company.

BUSINESS OVERVIEW
- Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon was a proposed tidal lagoon power plant that was to be constructed off the south coast of Wales, UK. A pathfinder project that had the potential to establish the foundations of a new worldwide industry with global export opportunities estimated to be in the region of £30 billion.
- The Project's Development Consent Order (DCO) expired in June 2020. At this current time there is an opportunity to purchase the Project's intellectual property.
- Parties are being invited to make a bid for the research and technical documentation prepared as part of the Lagoon development.
