Our Industrial & Logistics team has recently sold the Former EDF Car Park on behalf of Worthing Borough Council, achieving a price substantially more than quoting and following an extensive bidding process from two interested parties.

In close proximity to thriving cities such as Brighton and Portsmouth, Worthing has become a growing hub for commercial property investment in the South of England.

Situated within the East Worthing Industrial Estate and Broadwater Business Park, the site comprises 2.2 acres of land and consists of a surfaced car park to the rear of the former EDF offices, with potential to develop a new build site. Access to the site can be found from Southdownview Road, approximately 75 metres from the junction with Dominion Road.

Other nearby occupiers include Howdens, Wickes, SIG Roofing, Rayner, and Screwfix.

The new owner occupier plans to utilise the site for vehicle storage.

Luke Mort, Director at LSH, said: “In a place where there is a lack of supply but strong demand, we are pleased to see competitive interest from owner occupiers which has resulted in an excellent sale price being achieved despite current economic concerns.”
