We have recruited a new London planning director to support its growing pipeline of instructions in the capital. Jeff Field was previously head of London planning at BNP Paribas Real Estate and has previously held senior positions at JLL and Cluttons.

A qualified Town Planner and Chartered Surveyor, Jeff has been advising on major planning proposals across London for the past 35 years and has a track record advising both public and private sector clients.

Mary-Jane O’Neill, head of planning (London & South) at LSH, said: “Jeff’s appointment provides a key link between our town centre, urban design and CPO teams and is a response to our growing workload.  This also reflects our aspirations to increase our exposure to major developments across all boroughs and beyond.  Development in London is always challenging and clients increasingly need access to senior level expertise to help guide them through this ever-evolving landscape.”

Our London planning practice comprises a team of 19 professionals and is advising on a wide range of clients and projects including the mixed-use redevelopment of the former St Ann’s Hospital site for c. 1,000 homes in London, HS2, the BBC Maida Vale site and the proposed residential redevelopment of the Princes Mead Shopping Centre in Farnborough.
