Transformational year for LSH as it wins Best Large Agency Practice at Yorkshire Property Awards

Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) was awarded Best Large Agency Practice at the 2016 Variety Yorkshire Property Awards 2016.

In a transformational year for the business, during which it executed a number of new client initiatives and put together some of the major deals across Yorkshire, LSH’s proactive approach to client service has changed perceptions among its clients and peers. 

Fending off stiff competition from Knight Frank and JLL to pick up the coveted award at Rudding Park Hotel in Harrogate, the judging panel praised the firm’s full client service offering and was particularly impressed with how it had turned itself around following its acquisition by Countrywide in 2013, citing it to have ‘real forward momentum’. 

During the year, LSH’s Yorkshire team was involved in a variety of major projects, including the acquisition of the Former Tetley Brewery Site in Leeds, the disposal of Phoenix House in Leeds, the sale of Ventana House in Sheffield and the development of the Olympic Legacy Park in Sheffield. 

In February 2016, it also launched its Northern Powerhouse Office Districts App, which provides an unparalleled, comprehensive and granular analysis of the region’s office market, enabling occupiers, developers and investors looking for opportunities in the region to make informed, intelligent and accurate property decisions. 

The Variety Yorkshire Property Awards, now in its 19th year, is among the most prestigious in the calendar for the region’s property industry.
