Diversity and inclusion

LSH Together is the Steering Group for diversity and inclusion strategy, governance and best practice within LSH. Our mission is to champion and facilitate awareness, and advise on diversity and inclusion best practice, to attract and retain the best talent. 

We believe that if we want to encourage innovative and fresh ways of thinking, we all need to work together to ensure that LSH a safe and welcoming workplace where everyone feels able speak up, be heard and valued for their contribution.  

With support from our Senior Leaders, our role is to; 
     1. Engage with underrepresented diverse groups to ensure they have a voice, 
     2. Help steer the wider Equality Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) agenda, and Challenge the business to help bring about positive change within LSH. 

We know that our goals are punchy! But we think that it’s time to ask some hard questions.  We need to put aside our personal discomfort when talking about diversity, stop making excuses for the status quo, listen up, and learn.

    4. Take part in people consultations, and help us to shape our workplace via policy and procedure
