The Lambert Smith Hampton Ski Challenge and Business Forum is regarded as one of the commercial property industry’s premier events, with over 250 attendees in 2016.

What happens in Courmayeur?

The Lambert Smith Hampton Ski Challenge started in 1987 as a small gathering of entrepreneurial surveyors and clients with a passion to ski and build business relationships. Since then it has developed into one of the commercial property industry’s top events.

The three-day event comprises a Business Forum, with high profile keynote speakers, a number of networking opportunities, and a series of ski and snowboarding races.

Francis Salway, the former Chief Executive of Land Securities, and Andrew Jones, Chief Executive of LondonMetric, were the keynote speakers at our 2016 Business Forum.

Former British Olympic skier turned broadcaster Chemmy Alcott hosted a ‘ski clinic’ at the event.

Delegates include owners, occupiers, fund managers and managing directors from some of the largest property companies in the UK.

Thursday 19 January

15:15 - Hotel Courmayeur for shuttle bus to Skyway Monte Bianco cable car for the Business Forum.
15:30 - Arrival at Skyway Monte Bianco. Cable cars to Punta Helbronner to enjoy panoramic views and wine tasting.
16:45 - Cable cars down to Pavillon mid station for coffee break prior to Business Forum.
17:30 - Lambert Smith Hampton Business Forum.
19:15 - Cable cars down to Courmayeur, transfer to Grand Hotel Royal e Golf.
19:45 - Welcome Reception and race bib collection at Grand Hotel Royal e Golf.
20:45 - Networking drinks and buffet reception at Grand Hotel Royal e Golf. Invitation only.

Friday 20 January

09:30 to 11:30 - Ski Clinic at Le Greye, Piste 11.
12:00 - Ski and Snowboard Giant Slalom at Le Greye, Piste 11.
13:00 - Mountain buffet lunch at Maison Vieille.
13:30 - Dual Parallel Slalom race at Tzaly, Piste 10.
15:00 - Prize giving ceremony at Maison Vieille.
15:30 - LSH Live in the Mountains at Super G.
20:00 - Gala Dinner at Grand Hotel Royal e Golf. Invitation only.

Saturday 21 January

Morning - Free skiing time
12:00 to 14:00 - Buffet lunch at Mont Frety. Invitation only.

Dates announced for 30th anniversary - 06/09/16

The Lambert Smith Hampton Ski Challenge and Business Forum will return to Courmayeur in the Italian Alps from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 January 2017.

The event is one of the commercial property industry’s top gatherings and is now in its 30th year. Over 250 delegates attended last year’s event, including owners, occupiers, fund managers and managing directors from some of the largest property companies in the UK.

CoStar is once again the event’s media partner in 2017.

Ezra Nahome, CEO of Lambert Smith Hampton, said: “The Lambert Smith Hampton Ski Challenge and Business Forum helps to set the agenda for our industry for the year ahead and has become an unmissable fixture on the property sector’s calendar since it was established in 1987.
