LSH drives depot letting at Swansea Enterprise Park

Find out more

Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), has succeeded in letting a 0.78 acre site on Swansea’s Enterprise Park to South Wales Transport.

Acting on behalf of a private local landlord, LSH negotiated a three year lease on the property that incorporates 6,246 sq ft of yard, workshop and warehouse space.

Located on Ferrbyboat Close just off Valley Way, a key access road on the popular business and retail park, Site One has been let to the transportation company for a rental of £24k per annum.

It will serve as the main bus depot and administrative offices for the private company that provides local private hire bus services within Swansea and surrounding areas.

The property is currently undergoing some refurbishment work prior to South Wales Transport relocating from Neath to its new Swansea base in early March.  “This is the ideal facility for us,” says the company’s MD David Fowles, “giving us room for growth, higher quality workspace for our 40-strong team and providing improved accessibility to key link roads.”

“The move will allow us to consolidate our operations and reap the benefits of a much improved position close to the link roads to the M4 and Swansea city centre.”

“Concrete yard areas are currently in high demand in the Swansea Bay area,” adds LSH Director Jason Thorne “and this coupled with an escalation in the cost of creating such facilities is contributing to the appeal of second hand opportunities like this one on Ferryboat Close.”

Other occupiers in the local vicinity include LBS Builders Merchants, FRF Volvo and Town Tyres.
