A distribution company for a major supermarket chain has moved to bigger premises in North Warwickshire as its business operations continue to grow.

Intelligent Storage Solutions (Atherstone) Ltd (ISS) instructed LSH’s Birmingham office to find new premises for its business after expanding its operations.

The firm, which distributes goods on behalf of Aldi supermarket, has moved from its facility on Carlyon Road, Atherstone, to Unit 2 Purley Chase, Nuneaton, on a five-year lease.

The 26,350 sq ft building, which has recently been refurbished, comprises a warehouse unit with offices, large service yard and external store. It also has a new twin skin and insulated roof with integral skylights, roller shutter doors and an internal eaves height of 14.5ft.

Ed Forrester, Associate Director in LSH’s Industrial and Logistics team in Birmingham, said: “The site is ideally situated for a busy distribution company and we were pleased to secure agreeable terms for ISS so that it can expand its business operations.”

Alan Ball, of ISS, said: ““We instructed LSH to undertake a search for new premises as our requirement was particularly time sensitive. They found a number of suitable properties. However, the unit at Purley Chase fulfilled all of our requirements and provided us with room to expand our operation in the future. We were delighted with the level of rental incentives LSH secured on our behalf.”

Purley Chase comprises 100,000 sq ft of industrial and warehousing units in Nuneaton on a five-acre site. It is located off the B4114, just three miles from Nuneaton town centre and seven miles from the M42/M6.
