One of the borough’s most attractive locations

The Council has already undertaken some selective demolition on the estate.  LSH was selected following a competitive process. It will advise the Council in reviewing its assets as it looks to generate a stronger revenue stream from its property portfolio through a combination of new development, regeneration and refurbishment. As its largest holding, Bury Council is focused on ensuring that Bradley Fold Trading Estate remains one of the borough’s most attractive locations for businesses, and as economically viable and sustainable as possible.
LSH has advised a number of local councils on asset management, maximising the value of properties that could serve a more efficient purpose within the community.

Developing client relationships

Gayle Taylor, Director of Building Consultancy at LSH said: “LSH has a detailed knowledge of the project, having worked previously on the Bradley Fold Trading Estate in both a Building Consultancy and Industrial Agency capacity. Getting involved with the Council at this initial feasibility stage allows us to help shape the next chapter for the site and further develop our working relationship with Bury Council.”

Securing a promising future for businesses and residents

Cllr Mike Connolly, Leader of Bury Council, said: “This Council has made supporting business one of its top priorities. Revitalizing Bradley Fold is extremely important to this Council but also for the businesses and residents of Bury. The Council has commenced the process through undertaking selective demolition and with the Council also investing significantly into the Bradley Fold depot the long-term future and vitality of Bradley fold is assured.  We look forward to working in partnership with LSH and the improvements they will make for the people of Bury.”
