Plant designed to convert 10,000 tonnes per annum of household waste into 22GWh of grid quality bio-substitute natural gas (BioSNG).
Comprising a number of mature technologies such as a waste handling system, gasifier, plasma arc furnace, waste heat boiler, gas cleaning equipment, compressor, catalytic methanation, carbon dioxide scrubbers, carbon dioxide liquefaction and network entry unit. 
Ancillary machinery includes diesel generators, MCC’s, control system, transformers, bunded HDPE tanks, pumps, air blast coolers, etc 
Virtually all equipment installed on site and significant progress on mechanical and electrical integration. 
Methane to be injected into national grid and will qualify for valuable development renewable transport fuel certificates with carbon dioxide to be liquefied and sold for industrial use. 
Investment in facility c.£29M to date
