As part of our Historic Buildings service, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) provides specialist advice prior to the commencement of any alteration, refurbishment or maintenance work to historic buildings.
Historic buildings in the United Kingdom are protected by primary legislation and require the submission and approval of listed building or conservation area consent applications before works can be carried out.
Our surveyors use a variety of invasive and non-invasive techniques to gather information, and report back regarding options, needs and costs to clients by way of a detailed survey, pathology analysis or defects diagnosis.
