Property Surveys
Providing supporting evidence for valuation and assessing its potential durability, the survey continues to be an integral component of the Chartered Surveyor’s toolkit.
Lambert Smith Hampton's (LSH) Building Consultants focus on four survey templates which address the market’s most popular demands, whilst being sufficiently flexible to meet the detailed requirements of each client situation.
The LSH survey templates are:
- Condition Survey - The Condition Survey provides, in overview, an elemental record of the construction, use and condition of the property against asset value.
- The Building Survey - The Building Survey assesses a property’s construction, pathology, amenity and legislative compliance, focusing on the condition and lifecycle of key elements of the property.
- The Measured Survey - The Measured Survey quantifies the spatial properties of a building or parcel of land.
- The Investment Survey - The Investment Survey assesses the potential of a building as a future investment, focusing on its performance and durability to-date, whilst considering projected expenditures, repair covenants and the property’s compliance with current legislation.
In many cases, one of our four standard surveys is sufficient to meet the needs of the client. However, clients often require additional information, and the bespoke nature of our approach to surveying ensures that such requirements are always fully satisfied.
