Injecting private finance to upgrade aging portfolios
Public sector organisations often occupy an aging and expensive portfolio, which can be unfit for purpose. These circumstances are often combined with limited capital or revenue budgets to finance improvements across service and housing portfolios.
To solve this problem, we create partnerships with the private sector to inject private finance, enabling refurbishment and funding development programmes to rationalise and improve service portfolios.
The partnerships we create range from asset backed vehicles to scheme specific projects, such as a property sale coupled with Development Agreement obligations.]

Improving public housing stock through partnership
Improvement and enlargement of the public housing stock is a major challenge for local authorities. We create the best prospects for improvement and growth in housing stock through an active programme of collaboration with local communities, Registered Social Landlords and the private sector. This allows us to harness finance, construction and development expertise to deliver the physical, environmental and social objectives of housing improvement. The private sector is able, enthusiastic and willing to partner with local authorities in these areas and improvement to the built environment and social infrastructure can be brought about by this public / private engagement.
We are currently working with the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham establishing a Joint Venture vehicle with a partner that will develop private and affordable housing on borough owned sites released over a 10 – 15 year programme. Find out more about the joint venture vehicle
