Paradise – a 17-acre site between Birmingham's ICC and Council House - has been the subject of several redevelopment schemes over the past 15 years that have fallen by the wayside. However, this year finally saw the start of an exciting £500 million redevelopment project which will include impressive offices, bars and restaurants, shops and a hotel. On the road to a new Paradise, there have been many challenges.
