Francis Salway and Andrew Jones to address Business Forum

Francis Salway, the former Chief Executive of Land Securities, and Andrew Jones, Chief Executive of LondonMetric, have been confirmed as the key note speakers for the Lambert Smith Hampton Ski Challenge and Business Forum.

The event, now in its 29th year, returns to Courmayeur in the Italian Alps from Thursday 28 to Saturday 30 January 2016.

Francis served as Chief Executive of Land Securities between 2004 and 2012.  He is currently a non-executive director of Next plc, the FTSE 100 retailer, Chair of the Property Advisory Group for Transport for London and a Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics.

Andrew was a co-founder and CEO of Metric until its merger with London & Stamford, and subsequently became head of the combined business in 2013.  Andrew was previously Executive Director and Head of Retail at British Land.  He is currently a non-executive of Unite plc.

Ezra Nahome, CEO of Lambert Smith Hampton, said: “Over the past 29 years, the Ski Challenge and Business Forum has developed into an event that helps to set the agenda for the UK commercial property market for the year ahead.  The speakers we’ve secured for the 2016 event will ensure that it remains the industry’s premier skiing and networking gatherings.

“Both Francis and Andrew are hugely experienced and widely respected across the industry. I look forward to welcoming them to their first Business Forum and hearing their invaluable insights on the opportunities and challenges facing the UK commercial property market.”

The Lambert Smith Hampton Ski Challenge and Business Forum is one of the commercial property industry’s most highly-regarded events, with over 250 attendees in 2015. Delegates include owners, occupiers, fund managers and managing directors from some of the largest property companies in the UK.

The event is sponsored by CoStar, Together, Charles Russell Speechleys and DWF.
