LSH secures new home for CIMA

National commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton has secured new office space for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) at The Helicon, South Place, EC2.

CIMA has signed a 10-year lease for 23,456 sq ft of the third floor of The Helicon.

David Earle, Head of Central London Office Agency, said: “CIMA is relocating from the West End to the City after a comprehensive search of available options within Central London.

“It is looking to adopt more agile working practices and to switch from a self contained building to a single floor in order to improve communication and work place efficiencies.

“The move to the Helicon will fulfil these goals, whilst giving CIMA a prime position in the City.  CIMA is one of a number of occupiers relocating from the West to the City; we estimate that around 15% of leasing transactions in the City submarkets originated from the West End.”

RREEF Investment GMBH is the landlord of The Helicon, for which JLL and Allsop advised.
