LSH shows committment to North East

LSH has pledged its commitment to the North East region with the announcement it has signed a lease for new office accommodation at Earl Grey House on Newcastle’s Grey Street.

The move will enable the firm to expand its team in Newcastle, once fully operational from 1 September. Led by head of office, Darron Barker, LSH will begin a new chapter within the regional commercial property sector.

National Expansion

Following its acquisition in 2013 by the UK’s largest estate agency and property services group, Countrywide plc, LSH is now ideally placed to take advantage of the improvements in the region’s commercial property market. 

Clear demonstration of its appetite for expansion came in June when Lambert Smith Hampton announced its acquisition of the commercial division of BTW Shiells, Northern Ireland’s leading firm of commercial property consultants, employing some 75 staff.

Mr Barker explains:

“We are delighted to be moving into our new office accommodation.  We are very well placed to move the business forward at a time when there is very definitely an upturn in the market.

“We have already begun to expand with the recent appointment of David Gray, as senior surveyor within lease advisory and graduate, Rachel Farrier and we will be announcing further appointments in the coming weeks, so we are facing the future with confidence and look forward to an exciting period of growth.”
